AI invents a new genre of Music: The Making of “World PEACE III”
A few years ago, I began exploring the fascinating world of AI-generated music, sharing my discoveries through videos on @Data_Shaman. Since then, the field of AI has made remarkable strides, allowing us to create music, lyrics, animations, and subtitles with ease.
Yet, despite the advancements, one of the most rewarding and challenging tasks was creating something I could personally connect with — something worth sharing both aesthetically and technically. Today, I’m excited to present the song World PEACE III, a collaborative project that showcases the impressive capabilities of AI and carries a powerful message of global harmony.
A Fusion of AI, Art, and Multimodal Learning Models
World PEACE III represents the culmination of working with multiple open-source large language models (LLMs), combined with music generation tools like SUNO/Mubert, to craft a song that emphasizes one universal concept: peace. The song expresses the word “peace” in several of the world’s most frequently spoken languages, and each is pronounced in its native tongue. AI-generated images reflect the essence of peace in each linguistic and cultural context, and subtitles, which I manually re-synced, appear in perfect harmony with the music.
It wasn’t a simple process. While AI tools made it possible to generate the lyrics, music, and visuals, integrating these elements into something coherent and meaningful required significant manual effort. I had to meticulously adjust timing, sync subtitles, and edit the final video using tools like FFmpeg. The creative challenge was not just in generating these assets but ensuring that the final product had both artistic merit and emotional resonance.

The Lyrics of Global Peace
One of the most compelling aspects of World PEACE III is its lyrical journey across languages and cultures. The song translates the word “peace” into over 50 languages, representing some of the most spoken languages around the world — from Chinese to English, Arabic to Spanish, and beyond. Each line introduces the word in a new language, providing a multicultural tribute to the concept of harmony.

These lyrics don’t just serve as a linguistic showcase — they act as a reminder that while we may speak different languages, our collective desire for peace is universal.
AI in Music and Creativity: A New Era
The creation of World PEACE III exemplifies the exciting potential of AI in the creative process. By leveraging multimodal AI models, I could generate not just lyrics, but also music and visuals that resonate with the theme. These models have evolved to understand complex requests, incorporating everything from cultural context to emotional tone.
For instance, AI not only translated the word “peace” but also voiced it in the respective language’s accent and style, making each version feel authentic. AI-generated images were then created to visualize peace in those cultural contexts, forming a visual narrative that complements the lyrics.
Despite the sophistication of these tools, the process wasn’t without its challenges. Resyncing AI-generated subtitles to match the music required manual intervention. This step reminded me that while AI is an invaluable creative partner, human intuition and fine-tuning are still essential for bringing these projects to life.
The Path to Peace and AI’s Role in Shaping Our Future
World PEACE III isn’t just a technical exercise; it’s a piece of art that reflects on humanity’s enduring desire for peace in an increasingly interconnected world. AI played a crucial role in bringing this project to life, but it was human intention that guided the outcome. This collaboration between human creativity and machine intelligence feels especially significant as we stand at the threshold of a new era in art and technology.
AI has come a long way, but this project also highlights the limits and strengths of working with it in 2024. While the machines can generate ideas, languages, and visuals, they still rely on us to direct their efforts toward meaningful ends. The real beauty of AI lies not in its autonomy but in its ability to augment and enhance human creativity.
New AI Avant-garde Challenges in Music
AI can now make fusions between music genres nearing the invention of new none-existing genres. For example, my fusion of the following genres resulted in a futurist avantgard subRap genre that can be heard in the World Peace III song:

Well, this can be measured. If you grab all music genres from spotify, youtube or any other music platform, you can vectorize these genres base on beats, tunes, spaces, etc and project them into several dimensions thus searching for gaps where new genres can emerge, not necessarily ones you want to listen to.
